Officials from the United States, Canada and Britain quietly met with senior banking executives to discuss a single piece of AI software capable of finding thousands of critical flaws in outdated bank systems.

Treasury confirmed the meetings took place, with more planned. JPMorgan was invited to help prepare defenses, while Bank of America, Citibank and the American Bankers Association declined to comment.
